Alfred Brickett, Jr.
Al joined the CCB Team in 1981 as a Field Engineer/Superintendent before becoming a Project Manager in 1997. He has over 40 years experience in the construction industry which includes owning his own business.
Al, a journeyman carpenter, attended technical colleges in CT, NH, & ME, and works out of the corporate office/shop complex in Westbrook, ME.
In March of 2012, Al was lauded for 30 years of continued and dedicated service with CCB at the company annual meeting held in Auburn, ME. CCB owners Sean Ferguson, Beth Sturtevant and Marc Belanger are shown here presenting Al with an appreciative time piece and personalized Carhart jacket.
Noted projects: U.S. Custom House - complete exterior building envelope restoration; Dartmouth College - structural concrete foundations for new Life Sciences Building; Two Rivers Regional Correctional Facility - cast-in-place concrete footings, foundations and slabs for new multi-county jail.
Newell E. Porter
Newell joined the CCB Team in 1987 as a project manager after performing civil, structural, and mechanical installations at paper mills throughout the Northeast for various companies. He has amassed over 30 years of supervisory and management experience on industrial and commercial construction projects and works out of the Westbrook, ME location.
Newell, a journeyman carpenter, graduated from EMVTI in Bangor, ME and is a Marine Corp veteran.
An avid fisherman and outdoors-man, Newell is shown here canoeing with a grandson while attending a recent CCB summer outing on Cobbossee Stream in Gardiner, ME.
Noted projects: Merrimack Station - civil/site services for new hydro-power facility; Amoskeag Hydro-station - inflatable flash board installation and dam resurfacing; RSU18 Oakland School - new central biomass plant construction.
Mike joined the CCB Team in 1992 as a project manager with then over 20 years of industrial construction experience in nuclear power plants and paper mills throughout the Northeast. He currently oversees governmental and private commercial and industrial projects from CCB's Northern Regional office located in Old Town, ME.
Mike, a journeyman ironworker, graduated from Bentley College in Waltham, MA., and is an Army veteran.
Mike enjoys hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, boating and NASCAR. He is shown here getting ready to scorch the track in Charlotte, NC during a Richard Petty Experience drive.
Noted Projects: Poland Spring Bottling Plant - line two conveyor upgrade; Houlton Border Station - various tasks including structural steel; roofing; concrete; overhead and man doors; and siding for new station expansion; Bath Iron Works - cast-in-place concrete for foundations and slabs; steel erection and miscellaneous metals installation for new Ultra Hull PO2 project.
Larry joined the CCB Team in 2001 as a project superintendent before being promoted to project manager in 2013. He has over 26 years experience in the industrial and commercial construction field.
As a journeyman ironworker, Larry gathered a vast knowledge of the trade working in paper mills; combined cycle energy plants; and manufacturing facilities throughout the East Coast. His experience includes structural steel erection, miscellaneous metals fabrication, heavy rigging, millwright services and welding. His project management duties will include overseeing governmental and private commercial and industrial projects as well as wind, hydro, and traditional energy generating projects throughout ME, NH and MA.
Aside from spending time with his wife and daughter competing in Tough Mountain Challenges and motorcycling; Larry loves flying his vintage 1939 Piper J3 Cub. This particular Piper Cub (shown here with Larry and his wife Bobbie) has a rich history including being owned by a Maine Game Warden who is one of the pilots on the hit Animal Planet TV show North Woods Law which is filmed in Maine.
Noted projects: Gignoux Federal Courthouse - exterior building envelope improvements and limited interior upgrades for historical renovation in Portland, ME; Merrimack Station Clean Air Project - site management, logistics and coordination of Site Services contract for clean air upgrade to existing coal fired power plant in Bow, NH; Bath Iron Works Ultra Hull PO2 Project - coordination and erection of structural and miscellaneous steel for PO2 building expansion.
Jeff joined the CCB Team in 2008 with over 17 years experience in the commercial construction industry. After graduating from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Architecture, Jeff cut his teeth working as a construction administrator and assistant project manager in North Carolina and Massachusetts. He currently manages governmental and educational projects throughout New England while working out of the Westbrook, ME location.
Jeff's accreditation also include LEED AP designation (USGBC); Construction Quality Management Certificate for Contractors (USACE); and Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License.
Jeff is very active in sports, loves watching the NHL and playing hockey with his two sons. He's also active in road races competing in various 5K runs and (sprint) triathlons. He's shown here after finishing the Ninth Edition of the Polarbear (Sprint) Triathlon held at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME.
Noted projects: General Services Administration - low rise exterior stairs and bollards, at the JFK FOB; Portsmouth Naval Shipyard - design.build renovations for Buildings 29 and 178; State of Maine BGS - renovations and new additions for Windham High School, Gorham and Cumberland Middle Schools.
Nate joined the CCB Team in 2008 and has 4 years experience in the industrial and renewable energy construction field. Nate interned with CCB until graduating from Fitchburg State College with a B.S. in Industrial Technology, Construction Management. He currently manages governmental and private commercial and industrial projects as well as wind, hydro, and traditional energy generating projects throughout MA, NH, & ME.
Nate's accreditation also include LEED GA designation (USGBC); Construction Quality Management Certificate for Contractors (USACE); and Northern Power100 Installer Certification.
Nate loves being a new dad, and enjoys attending rock concerts. He's also very active in physical fitness and running.
