Outfitting Hall Bay 3 BIW

Bath, ME

Description:

Placement of foundations and construction of a new 108 ft. tall 65,000 SF facility.

Project Tasks:

CCBs Scope of work included the placement of over 7,500 yards of concrete and installing of 700 tons of rebar in the foundation. We off loaded and erected over 1,541 tons of structural steel including 216 columns and 1899 beams. We installed all grating and interior railing systems. We also installed the overhead bridge crane spanning over 150 ft.

Complete repurposing of space into three modern laboratory facilities while remainder of facility is fully operational.

Project Tasks:

Demo existing facilities, install specialized humidity controlled air handling system, Resinous floor systems, specialty walkable ceilings, automatic doors, vinyl wall systems and filtered compressed air system.

Description:

Remove and Replace Foundation for New Milling Machine.

Project Tasks:

To complete the removal CCB had to use a combination of Saw cutting, coring and a “Brokk” to cut and remove the 8,750 cubic feet of concrete and soil. Once excavation was complete, shoring & perimeter steel plates, and a mud slab was installed. The new foundation once placed was 7 ft. of concretewith steel reinforcing.
