Salem Harbor Power Plant

Salem, MA

Description:

Erect all structural steel and install acoustical panels for 5 buildings at the new 674 MW power plant

Project Tasks:

From unloading and handling of all structural steel elements to erection of steel columns, beams, roof trusses, purlins, and bracing for all 5 buildings. CCB handled and installed over 3,000 tons of steel. We installed the bridge cranes, overhead doors and acoustical paneling systems on all buildings.

Madison Hydro Facility

Madison, ME

Description:

Replace owner furnished rubber dam bladder at Hydro facility in Madison, Maine

Project Tasks:

CCB provided access to the remote facility, completed the de-watering process and removed all clamping plates to remove the old bladder. Replace damaged anchor bolts, repair all concrete as required, install new rubber bladder and test system.

CT Launcher Relocation Project

Cheshire, CT

Description:

Relocate both the 10 and 16 inch launcher barrels to a different part of the Algonquin pipeline.

Project Tasks:

The scope of work included the selective removal of equipment and demolition of pipe at the current location. Refurbishing of the launcher systems: the reinstallation of the system at the new launcher site. Site work included access road improvement and relocation, site grading and fencing. The navigation of wetlands and preventation of damage to turtle habitat at the new location was also required.
