CCB Owner Beth Sturtevant - 2013 AGC Maine President
WESTBROOK, ME - Wednesday evening Jan 23rd, 2013, CCB's Majority Owner and President Beth Sturtevant did what 60 others before her did; assumed the role as President of the Associated General Contractors of Maine. Beth started attending AGC functions in the 90's and has sat on various committee's through the years, and even taught training courses for estimators through the organization. Since becoming a member of the AGC Board of Directors in 2007, the path to the presidency seemed to be laid out for her. Like all past AGC Maine Presidents, Beth held the positions of Treasurer, Second Vice President, and then First Vice President before finally accepting the gavel for 2013.
Beth's passion for the construction industry has helped set two of her major goals for AGC Maine in 2013. As stated in the Special Edition of AGC Maine's blueprint magazine, goal #1, A public relations effort to inform and educate the public about the valuable contribution that the construction industry brings to the economy of the State of Maine; and #2, Increased commitment and investment in the training and education of the current and future tradespeople, supervisors and managers in the industry.
Whether you're a member of the general public, business owner, current or potential AGC member, and have questions and/or comments about the AGC or construction industry in general; feel free to contact Beth at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your thoughts. She'll always find time to talk about her passion and Building Maine's Future.
