Community Service

At CCB, our team members live and work in the communities we serve. We are proud of the work we do in support of our fellow businesses and organizations, and consider it a privilege to be involved and ‘give back’ to our communities through consistent community service.

Here are just a few of the ways that CCB has enhanced and enriched the communities we serve:

  • Berlin NH Babe Ruth Program (In memory of Patrick Forestall, a dear friend and 25 year member of the CCB family who we lost in May 2012; CCB and Patrick's co-workers and friends pledged funds to help re-institute Babe Ruth baseball in Berlin, NH - Patrick's hometown. With the city's blessings, the name of the team is the Berlin Pat's)
  • Cambodia Arts and Scholarship Foundation (CCB is committed to the education of impoverished and at-risk girls in Cambodia through corporate sponsorship and individual involvement)
  • Hardy Girls Healthy Women (Proud sponsor of "Girl's Rock!" weekend through corporate sponsorship and individual participation)
  • Maine Parkinson's Society (Raising awareness through education and funding to provide respite care to family members that also have to battle this disorder. Corporate sponsorship and awareness driven by a CCB Team member who lost a loved one to this disease)
  • Muscular Dystrophy Association (Multiple CCB Team members have been "locked-up" to raise funds and give support to the fight against Muscle Disease)
  • Greater Portland United Way (With an average of 28 team members participating each year for the past nine years, CCB has pledged over $66,000 to support the GPUW and their partner agencies)
  • Wescustago Youth Chorale (Proud corporate sponsor of this Chorale which offers a positive peer environment for both musical and social development for talented young men and women in grades three through twelve)
  • Westbrook Community Food Pantry and Resource Center (Continuous corporate and team member support through food drives and fund raisers  to help give a "hand-up" to those who utilize the center)
  • Westbrook Together Days (Sponsorship of this 2-day community festival through corporate donations and team members volunteering their time during the event)
